Pack of 6 greetings cards (all featuring the same design) which reproduce an original poster advertising " The Suffragette" newspaper, circa. 1912. The image is printed in vibrant lithographic colours and depicts a young lady in the countryside, by a gate, holding high a copy of 'The Suffragette' newspaper (Please note that the sample electronic image, unlike the cards themselves, is watermarked with a Portrayer insignia and reduced in quality, to prevent image theft). Card measurements are 6 inches high by 4 inches wide and each card is complete with cellophane wrapper and envelope. Blank interiors for your own message or for any occasion. 6 Greetings Cards. A modern reproduction of this suffragette poster, created by W.F. Winter, and originally published by the Artists' Suffrage League (date unknown). Printed with archival inks on premium paper (200 GSM, Silk Art, photographic print). Poster (in shades of brown, cream and sand) shows weary and dejected British working woman at a sewing machine, with the slogan "Votes for Workers" beneath it.
